Speed dating is defined as what occurs when people go to a dating event looking for someone who might be a good match for them. This includes a very quick meeting with several different people in one night to see if there is someone there who you might be compatible with.
During the event many women and men will be seated at a tables. A woman and a man will sit at each table for a specified period of time. It may be anywhere between two minutes to ten minutes depending on the speed dating event you attend.
